At eight years old while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his mother, Gloria, and his Aunt Irene, Jim Fogarty fell in love with airplanes after seeing a Lockheed Constellation up close and personal.
The Constellation was the end of the piston driven airliners, prior the emergence of jets in the 1960’s, but it was the beginning of a love affair with flying that Fogarty has had ever since.
